IntroductionTake the most comprehensive guided tour of Washington DC there is! This tour combines a bus tour with short walks and either a private boat cruise on the Potomac River during spring and summer months, or a visit to Pentagon City Mall for lunch and shopping during the rest of the year. Other tours of DC either use a recording or their tour guide stays on the bus when you hop off. On this tour, the guide will get off the bus with you and walk you through each attraction, showing it to you in detail. The guide will also join you on the boat cruise (operates March 15 to October 31 only), so you will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the day. Outside of spring and summer (November 1 to March 14) you'll visit Pentagon City Mall for lunch and shopping.
During this tour, you'll see all the DC monuments and memorials up close and personal, and learn the history and trivia surrounding the US capital. It's great for kids and adults of all ages! This tour provides a great overview of the Washington DC if you have a limited time to visit.
Photo stops are made at major Washington DC monuments, and you'll be entertained and informed by the tour guide's expert commentary throughout the day.
